Do I have to remove my clothes?

For Swedish massage yes you do. A sheet , towel or blanket will be used to ensure your modesty.

In Indian head no you don't, you can wear a wraparound towel if you wish

.

Do I have to use oils?

Indian head Its optional . It makes the hair have a nice sheen and moisturises the skin and hair. Different oils can be discussed.

Swedish massage Yes, this is to ensure a smooth flow and nourishes the skin.

How long is the treatment?

Full Swedish massage:- 1 hour.

Head and shoulders:- 30 mins.

Indian Head:- 30 mins.

Facial Rjuvenation - 30 mins

What is a consultation?

This is where the client gives the therapist medical and lifestyle information. It may be advisable to get a doctors permission to have treatment if you have a  certain medical condition e.g high blood pressure.

It also gives the client the chance to discuss any queries, talk about oils and ask questions. All this will be totally confidential.

How much is the treatment?

Full body massage £25

Head shoulders and neck :£15 

Indian Head £15 

Facial rejuvenation £ 20

 What happens during a massage?

 In Swedish massage the client will be given a consultation. They are asked to remove their clothes and to lay on the couch where they will be covered with a sheet or blanket  to ensure modesty. Making sure the client is comfortable and warm. The Oil of their choice will be put on the area and massaged in, giving it a smooth glide. After the massage has finished and the client has got ready, some after care advice will be given.

Indian Head

The client will be given a consultation and asked to sit on a low back chair making sure they are in an upright positon.Oils of their choice  [optional] are applied on the back {if wearing a wraparound towel } and the hair and then massaged in. After the massage aftercare advice will be given .

What do you mean by aftercare

Aftercare is where advice is given to the client after the treatment. It's important  for the client to follow this to gain the full benefits of the massage.

        Here are a few examples:-

  • To drink plenty of water, this speeds the removal of toxins.
  • Posture exercises.
  • Breathing exercises.
  • Recommended products, e.g moisturiser for dry skin.
  • Lifestyle advice.
  • Care of skin and hair after using oils.

you may experience some reactions when the body self healing and process of elimination of toxins these reactions are

  • frequent visits to the toilet
  • Runny nose/cough
  • Perspiration
  • Deep vivid dreams difficulty in sleeping
  • headaches
  • Nauea/dizziness
  • Aching and soreness
  • These reactions are temporary and should clear in 24 hours thses are positive signs that your body has reponded to the treatment
